Cody Chen is a career development facilitator, dedicated to helping people become more confident and better themselves.

At the beginning of 2019, he came to know about an organization of speech club for the first time. Constant practice in the speech club helped me conquer the nervousness in giving public speeches, and he become more confident.

When he arrived in Foshan in July 2021, he found few speech clubs organized. he clearly knows the value of a speech club, it plays an important role in personal growth and community construction. So in August 2021, he founded AGORA Foshan, with the help of my wife Jane and my friend Ariel.

She has been the general coordinator of the first "Agora International Marathon" in 2020 and also the last one in 2021, as well as being responsible for Agora's Hispanic participation in "The International Speech Day 2021 ".

Michael Nicholson (Mike) was born and raised in Germany and is currently a retired British Human Resources Consultant who has been involved with Indonesia since 1981. Mike is a Hobby Beekeeper, an Advanced Scuba Diving Instructor and has been actively involved in the Indonesian Heritage Society since 2004 and has been a Volunteer Tour Guide at Museum Nasional Indonesia since 2008 and De Klerk’s House since 2010.

He has been a Judge for the BINUS University AEO (Asian English Olympics) and NEO (National English Olympics) Speech Contests for ten years in Indonesia and was the Final Judge for the BINUS Spelling Bee Competition for two years.

Hélène Kemmere studied French at the Sorbonne, Paris. She is Dutch. Before retiring she was an entrepreneur in the educational sector. Hélène’s ambition to speak (well) at her son's wedding drove her to join a then well-known speaking club in Amsterdam. Recognizing the benefits to others, she became active and enjoyed founding numerous new clubs in different European countries. When AGORA Speakers crossed her path in 2016, Hélène immediately joined.
